Janet L. Luman (Jackson), 82, was called Home to be with the Lord on February 6, 2024. Originally from Portsmouth, OH, passed peacefully in Columbus, Ohio where she resided most of her adult life.
Preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Harry Francis Jackson and Cynthia Caroline Jackson (Riddlebarger), and her husband, David Luman. Survived by her biological children, Mary Beth-Ann (Brad) Ellis, Mark (Sue) Comer, Paul Comer, Johnnie (Christopher) Elder. Her sister, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and "adopted" children.
Janet's life was dedicated to raising her children, and helping raise her grandchildren, Brad Ellis Jr., Joshua Ellis, and several great-grandchildren including Nuova Harris. Her selflessness, loyalty, and compassion were some of her most admirable qualities that she was sure to pass on for generations.
Memorial and gravesite services will be held on February 13th, 2024 at 11am at Lithopolis Cemetery, 4365 Cedar Hill Road, Canal Winchester, OH.
