Janet Faye Thornburg Sanders, 76 years old. Born April 8, 1945 in Huntington, WV and went to Heaven on July 31st, 2021 at 4:52am.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Sanders. They were married 50 years. Additionally, Janet was preceded in death by parents, James and Bessie Thornburg and Gladys and Robert Singer; some of her children and grandchildren.
Mom loved to crochet and go camping. Janet attended Canaan Land Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by brother, Bucky (Gail) Thornburg of Tennessee; sisters, JoAnn Thornburg of Columbus, Ohio, Jamie Thornburg Mehaffey of South Carolina, and special best friend and sister, Lois Davis Massey of Florida; children, Kay Sanders of Columbus, Ohio, Chuck (Sandy) Sanders of Columbus, Ohio, Jana (Ron) Meade of Grove City, Ohio, Charlie (Connie) Sanders of Canal Winchester, Ohio, Charlena (Grant) Mettler of Canal Winchester, Ohio; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation Tuesday, August, 10, 2021 from 4-8pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 11am at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet's name to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
