Janet L. Strait, 58, of Canal Winchester, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Winchester Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 5, 1948, in Columbus. Janet is preceded in death by her father Frederick L. Strait. She is survived by her mother, Alverna (Herman) Wheeler; sister, Carol A. (Chuck) Couch; nephews, David (Denise) Barr, John (Nicole) Couch and Christopher Couch; great niece and nephew, Kayla and Alex Barr. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Janet's memory to Winchester Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center 36 Lehman Dr. Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
