Janie S. (Sutton) Detrick, aged 79 years, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on November 28th, 2022.
Born in Newburn, Tennessee on November 16th, 1943, she was raised by Edward and Ammie Culley.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Neal E. Detrick and beloved dog, Frenchie.
Surviving family includes her son Christopher (Jane) Detrick and grandchildren, Lara (Finn) Detrick, and Magdalin (Tre) Cumbow.
Janie always had a great appreciation for the outdoors, often stopping to smell the roses which she loved to grow, and taking the time to explore the diverse floral and fauna in her local Metro Parks.
A beloved mother and grandmother, her impact will persist in the lives of those she touched well beyond her passing.
Visitation will be held will be held Friday, December 9th, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231.
