Janine Marie (Luckhaupt) Laughlin, 51, of Galloway, OH, passed away March 6, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Columbus, OH on May 28, 1959 to Richard and Barbara (Lee) Luckhaupt. She was a graduate of Franklin Heights High School in 1977. She married Bryant M. Laughlin on October 27, 1979. Janine enjoyed decorating, attending to her crafts and was awaiting spring to tend to her gardens. She quietly and courageously battled diabetes for 31 years. Janine will be remembered into eternity by her loving husband of 31 years, Bryant M. Laughlin, parents, Richard and Barbara Luckhaupt, beloved daughter, Norah R. (Patrick) Fagan, beloved son, Bryce Laughlin, sister, Kathyrn (Michael) Olney, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved mother-in-law, Ruth Strickler. She was preceded in death by her niece, Michelle Ranck and older brother Rick Luckhaupt. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm, Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am, Friday, March 11, 2011 by Father Thomas J. Brosmer at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 434 Norton Road, Columbus, OH 43228. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you give to a charity of your choice, remembering in prayer the special needs of Type I Diabetics.
