June 3, 1939 — August 22, 2012
Jannette I. Grooms, age 73, went home to be with the Lord, August 22, 2012 after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 3, 1939.
Jannette was preceded in death by parents, James and Thelma Martin.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Steve) Adams, Christine Grooms and Vicki (Rick) Mullen; brothers, Thomas Martin and Kenneth (Theresa) Martin; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Jannette was a retired school bus driver for CDC Head Start.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, August 27, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 with funeral services following at 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society Central Region Office –FRAO, 5555 Frantz Rd. Dublin, OH 43017.
