Jason Michael Overly

Jason Michael Overly (Shorty), 46, of Columbus, passed away January 10, 2024. He was born in Orlando, Florida on November 13, 1977 to Lois Jean Ryan Mayhew, who survives.

Along with his mother, Jason is survived by his son, Ethan Overly; brother, Joshua Call; fiancé, Shelley Hagerman; family and friends, Zerick Dill, Caleb Hazelwood, Cash Pyles, Donna Pyles, Nancy Hagerman, Alisha Hagerman, and Margie Burgett.

Jason was a man of all trades, who was great with his hands, able to do just about anything he was tasked with for a job. When he wasn't helping others through his work, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending most of his time with friends and family.

Visitation to honor Jason will be held from 2 to 4 pm, Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. Service to honor his life will be held at 4pm, also on Sunday. The Newcomer family is honored to serve the Overly family.
