Jaya Christina Scott-Artis, 5 weeks, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Jaya was born in Columbus, OH on June 18, 2013, to Christopher M. Artis and Shaw-Naye Scott and is preceded in death by a host of loved ones.
Survivors include her parents; sister, Aleah Artis; grandparents, Sean Scott Sr, Satina Fagain, Javine Artis, Edward Williams; great-grandparents, Freelove Johnson and Cheryl Hughes; 4 aunts, 7 uncles, 6 cousins and a host of loving family members and friends.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, August 1, 2013, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Higher Ground AAA Inc., 870 St. Clair, Columbus, OH 43201 with the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
