MINNEY (LEE)
Jean A. Minney, 90, of Columbus, OH. passed away on July 25, 2015 at her daughter's residence. Born August 2, 1924 in Chillicothe, OH. to the late Andrew and Merle (White) Lee. She worked at her family's grocery store, then from 1942-1953 at National Fireworks, Inc. After that she was a mother and housewife.
Jean married Donald Minney November 19, 1950 at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Chillicothe, OH. Jean was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Columbus.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, sister Charlotte Lepley, and brother Jack Lee.
She is survived by daughters Melinda (Dan) Stickler, Melonlee (Skip) Lewis, Marla (Michael) Betz, and son Daryl (Melissa) Minney. Grandchildren Michelle Stickler, Bryan (Heather) Stickler, Christopher and Christy Lewis, Colt and Anna Betz, and Willow Minney. Great –grandchildren Samantha, Michael, Brandi, Noah, Audrey, Ashlyn, Hunter, Kaitlyn, Talon, Ryder, and babygirl Betz. Great-great-grandson Levi. Sister Patricia Olaker and brothers Stanley Lee of Chillicothe, Dave (Doris) Lee of Frankfort, Ed Lee of Salem, AL. sister in law Vernice Pinisten, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at the Potters House, 3220 Lowell Dr. Columbus, OH 43204, on Tuesday July 28th from 1pm-8pm.
Funeral service will be held at the same location on Wednesday July 29th at 11am with additional viewing an hour prior to service.
