Jean L. Frost

Jean Lucille Frost, 100, of Columbus, passed away Friday June 30th, 2023.

Jean was born August 13th, 1922 to George and Christina (Tietze) Lingo.

She was a long-time member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved antiques and was an avid Antique Dealer for most of her life. She was the Proprietor of Village Antiques of old Dublin and occasionally hosted large antique shows around Ohio and other States. She had a real zest for life and loved dancing, music, nature (especially animals) and any opportunity to get together with family and friends. The last few years, her great grandchildren brought her a lot of joy and lovingly referred to her as Nana Jean.

She was married to Jack Frost for 60 years.

Jean will be deeply missed by her family including her daughter, Jill (Chuck) Christensen, granddaughter, Katelyn (Michael) Smith, great-grandchildren, Lyla & Logan Smith, and sister, Ruth Youngquist.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband (Jack Frost), parents (George & Christina Lingo), her brothers (Bud & Bill Lingo) and her sisters (Marianne Robertson & Grace Lutz).

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26th, 2023 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, Ohio 43065 with a Memorial Service following at 2:00pm with Pastor Steve Wachtman officiating. A burial will be at a later date at Union Cemetery.
