Jean M. Kearnes, 78, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at her residence. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Jean was born August 27, 1928, in Columbus, daughter of the late John and Christina (Tiberi) Dorn Sr. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Kearnes Sr., brother, John Dorn Jr. and sister, Betty Trimble. Jean is survived by a son, Arthur (Tracey) Kearnes Jr.; daughter, Linda (Clayton) Keith Sr.; brother, Richard Dorn; sisters, Helen Yorde and Joanne Moore; grandchildren, Clayton (Kimberly) Keith Jr., Heather Kearnes and Kristin Kearnes; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Clayton Keith III. Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, and also from 10:15 AM until time of service, Friday, May 25, 2007 at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N. High St. Lewis Center, in the Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice 1144 Dublin Rd. Coumbus, Oh 43215.
