"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away" (Holy Bible, King James Version, Revelations 21: 3-4).
"When from the lips of Truth one mighty breath Shall, like a whirlwind, scatter in its breeze The whole dark pile of human mockeries; Then shall the reign of Mind commence on earth, And starting fresh, as from a second birth, Man in the sunshine of the world's new spring, Shall walk transparent like some holy thing" (Mary Baker Eddy, 1884).
Our beloved mother, Jean Ann Sanders, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022. Jean was a mother to Susie, Jenny, and Julie, and many others over the years as every child that she encountered was immediately loved by her. She would have adopted them all. Jean raised her children in several interesting places with her husband, Charles Sanders, whom she also dearly loved.
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles, her brother, Warnie, her sister, Paula, her mother, Polly, and her daughter, Susie. Of course, there are many others who will never be forgotten and remain deeply loved and missed. Wherever they are, that ought to be one heck of a reunion with a lot of huge, belly laughs. I can only speak for myself, but I think we're all due for some good laughs.
Jean is survived by two daughters, a son-in-law, and seven grandchildren who were all touched by her over the course of their lives especially as young children. For many years, not a day went by that Grandma Jean wasn't doing something for the grandchildren whether taking them to and from school, making them meals, and providing them a safe and loving place to land.
Besides her children, Jean is also survived by her sister, Sue, her brother, Mike, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends whose memories of her are no doubt limitless.
While Jean never wanted to be the center of attention, it is worth noting that she was a talented artist and writer and she had a beautiful singing voice. Jean was also intelligent, outspoken, and an excellent conversationalist. If someone had a problem or needed to discuss something important and/or painful, there was simply no better listener than Jean.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Mid-Ohio Food Collective.
