Jean E. Welch, age 57, passed away peacefully at the Kobacker House on Monday, February 19, 2018. She was born in Columbus, OH on January 4, 1961 to John and Dorothy Dawson.
Jean loved her family and enjoyed life to the fullest. She had a loving, gentle soul and her strength is an inspiration to everyone she met. Just being in her presence could make everyone around her smile.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Dawson and her brother, Jeffrey Dawson.
She is survived by her husband, James; children, Dean (Ashlee) Conley, Crystal (Chris) Haun, A. J. Combs and Danielle (Colby) Shull; grandchildren, Jordan, Ireland, Ava and Liam Conley, Austin and Logan Haun and Isabella Combs; brother, John Dawson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved dogs.
The family will receive friends from 12-1pm, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH, 43231 where the memorial service will be held following at 1:00pm. Family and friends are invited to Blendon Township Senior Center at 6330 S. Hempstead Rd., Westerville, OH 43081 immediately following the memorial service.
