Jeanette Marie Santee

Jeanette M. Santee, age 66, of Columbus passed away on August 8, 2022. She was preceded by her parents, Frank Maness and Edith Oettlin, and her brothers, Jack Carver and Jerry Carver.

She is survived by her husband, CJ; daughter, Jenny (Mike) Sopher; grandson, Wyatt Jay (Jen Neff) Sopher; sisters, Judy (Otis) Mounts, Theresa (John) Forbes, Robin (Mike) Long; along with many other family and friends.

Jeanette loved her dogs, Izzy and Lucy, and her rescue cat, Ivy. She was the matriarch of the family and everyone looked to her for guidance and advice on pets or any questionable illnesses. Jeanette's other love was maintaining her beautiful home and flower gardens. One of her favorite hobbies was eating ice cream during the coldest time of winter. She enjoyed nature and all of nature's offerings in her backyard.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest, 3393 Broadway.
