Jeffrey L. Bowens departed this life on Monday, August 16, 2021. He was born on November 6, 1963 to the late Roy Kenneth Bowens and Dixie Darlene Bowens. Jeff was raised in Columbus,Ohio, but later resided in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Jeffrey was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a man of great integrity. In fact he dedicated 28 years of hard work to The Wasserstrom Company, However, due to health issues he was forced to take a break which led him to his next journey at Sanoh the last two years of his life.

His biggest hobby was being a wood craftsman. Making everything from wishing Wells and jewelry boxes, to even building his own backyard patio and privacy fence.

In his free time he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, attending his grandkids sporting events, traveling to new places, and simply Sitting by the fire with his loved ones telling outlandish stories and ridiculous jokes. Jeff valued his family and friends more than any materialistic objects. He instilled family values and morals in everyone that he came encounter with. To know him is to love him.

Jeff is proceeded in death by his mother Dixie Darlene Bowens, father Roy Kenneth Bowens, grandmother Lulu Fields, brother David Bowens and sister-in-law Debra Davis. Jeff leaves to rejoice in his homecoming celebration with many cherished memories, his loving wife Kay Bowens, daughters Shawnna (Tiobas) Bowens-Hill, Crystal Stewart, Sons Quinn (Misty) Stewart, David (Matti) Stewart, 17 Grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, Sister Marilyn (Gary) Wassmuth, Brother-in-law Robert Davis, a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces Nephews, friends and an endless amount of bonus children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:30am at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.

Immediately following the services the family welcomes you to join them for food, drinks and to share your greatest memories, celebrating and honoring the beautiful life of Jeff Bowens.
