Jeffrey Sindel

Jeffrey Sindel, age 67, passed peacefully on January 1, 2023. Preceeded in death by parents Walter Sindel of Gahanna, Esther Bowen Sindel of Johnstown; brother Larry Sindel of Morrison CO; and companion Bonnie Renne, of Columbus. Survived by brother Doug Sindel of Jeffersonville, nephew Andrew Langan of Thornton CO, and many cousins. Former member Peace Lutheran Church, Gahanna. Student of Lincoln High School and Eastland Vocational School, Columbus. Formerly employed by Ebco Mfg, and Anderson Concrete, both of Columbus. Member of Teamsters. How can you describe the life of a beloved brother and devoted friend? Jeff was the quiet type, and soft spoken. He was very fond of animals, thrifty, yet could be generous with friends in need. He liked motorcycles, guns, Army tank modeling, stories and movies about the Wild West. He was usually the last one to pile into the family car when leaving for grade school, Sunday School, or on family vacations. My mom was looking for some extracurricular activity for Jeff in grade school. She chose some lessons in Modern Dance. Jeff gave it a shot for a time. It did not last. Jeff was a loyal friend. He was not tall, but he was a gentle giant in the hearts of many. He is loved and greatly missed.
