Jeffrey Allen Tomlinson, 76, of Westerville, passed away November 30, 2021.
Jeffrey was born October 21, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to Allen and Greta (Hartley) Tomlinson.
Jeffrey proudly served in the United States Navy stationed on USS George K Mackenzie during the Vietnam War.
He attended both UCLA and The Ohio State University.
He was an avid outdoorsman that loved boating, hunting and fishing. "Grandpa Whiskers" was extremely intelligent, artistic and spiritual.
He was a member of Westerville Christian Church and the Greek Orthodox Church in Columbus Ohio.
Jeff was passionate about genealogy and was a student of History.
Jeffrey will be deeply missed by his daughters, Diana Mercer, Kimberly Quade, Diane Bowcott, Rebecca Reed, Jennifer (Scott) Kuns; Grandchildren Joshua Tomlinson, Jessica (Adam) Lacey, Andrew Quade, Danielle (Zach) McAnulty, Samantha Quade, Lindsey (Alex) Debo, Jordan Kuns, Garrett Kuns, Sonya Bowcott, Brett Bowcott; Great Grandchildren, Evelynn Lacey, Lilian Lacey, Lyrica McAnulty, Amelia Merlotti, Cecelia Debo; Sister Janis Stergiopoulos of Cincinnati Ohio , and Brother James (Mary) Tomlinson of Lucas, Ohio, along with many other family and friends.
Jeffrey was proceeded in death by his parents and Brother In-law William Stergiopoulos.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Greek Orthodox Church at 11am located at 555 N. High Street, Columbus Ohio 43215.
Service at the Church and procession to Forest Lawn Memorial Garden to follow.
