Jennifer Harris

Jennifer Karen Harris, 59 of Columbus, passed away suddenly at home. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio on November 19, 1953 to Classie (Donaldson) and the late David Harris. After graduating from Malabar High School, she moved to Columbus and attended Bliss College, then retired from The State of Ohio. She was a warm and giving person and loved her family. She loved playing bid whist, attending events downtown and riding the Cota Bus.

Along with her mother, she is survived by one son Andre (Shannon) Harris; two grandchildren Justin and Shelbie Harris; five sisters Beulah Wiley, Jackie Crawford, Patricia Harris, Christine Harris and Norma (Mark) Tolson; one brother Jonathan Harris; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; special friends Karen (Lee) Greene and Jamila Fegain.

Preceded in death by brother Eugene Harris; sister Alene Harris; brother-in-law Wilford Wiley; maternal and paternal grandparents York and Georgian Donaldson and Ezelle Harris and Callie Berry.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on July 31, 2013 from 1pm until time of memorial service at 2pm.
