Jennifer Lynn Viafora, 48, of Chagrin Falls, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 in Geauga, County. She was born May 25, 1961, in Columbus, daughter of Robert F. and Peggy L. Bedell Halley of Grove City. After her marriage Jennifer lived in Dover, New Jersey for 17 years, and in the last two years, she has been living her dream in Chagrin Falls in the home built for her by her beloved husband, Douglas Viafora. She was a graduate of Grove City High School and The Ohio State University where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. An Episcopalian, Jennifer attended St. John's Church in Worthington. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Douglas Viafora; sister, Juliana (Tim) Bruce; niece, Melissa K. Faris; nephew, Robert Westley Faris; step nephew, Nicholas Bruce; aunts and uncles, Patricia Ann and Richard Mulvany, John Richard and Jane Bedell, Sarah Ruth and Bernard Greg Fleming all of Grove City, William and Billie Halley of Columbus; 23 cousins, 23 second cousins, 16 third cousins and countless fourth and fifth cousins; Last but not least, her treasured friends Grace and Margaret McDaniels of Columbus and Urbancrest. Jennifer was preceded in death by her cousin, Michael Loren Mulvany; maternal grandparents, Loren and Dorothy Bedell; paternal grandparents, Robert and Louise Halley. Visitation will be Monday, December 21, 2009 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, with a prayer service beginning at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Cathedral, 212 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43215. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jennifer's memory to the South-Western City Schools Educational Foundation Board, 3805 Marlane Dr. Grove City, OH 43123.
