Jenny Lynn Bond

*October 6, 1947 - January 31, 2025*

Jenny Lynn Bond, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, at the age of 77. Born in Toledo, Ohio, on October 6, 1947. Jenny was the devoted wife of Randall Bond, who preceded her in death 2024. Jenny graduated from The Toledo Hospital School of Nursing and enjoyed a 43 year career as a Registered Nurse.

A talented cross-stitch artist, spending many peaceful hours with needle and thread, creating stunning pieces that reflected her care and patience. Her love for dogs, especially her Labrador Retrievers, brought joy and companionship to her life. Jenny's heart was always open to her four-legged friends, who loved her dearly in return. She especially loved and held dear to her heart her three dogs, Mike and Charlie Brown, both chocolate Labs and Louis, a yellow Lab. All good boys.

Jenny loved the water and sailing on the Great Lakes. Cape Cod also held a special place in her heart. She spent many happy times there, relishing the beauty and tranquility of the seaside.

Jenny is survived by her two sons; Chris (Kim) and Matt, and her three grandchildren, Cody, Bailey, and Jack. She is also survived by her brothers Jon Wiemer (Barbara) and Jan Wiemer (Shelly), brothers-in-law Jerry Miller, Bob Bond (Denise), sisters-in-law MarySue Forni (Bruce), Joyce Bond and numerous niece’s and nephews.

Jenny had many nursing friends she kept in touch with over the years, friends, neighbors, her health aide Vanessa and a very special friend, Hope Gerhardstein.

She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of Jenny's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) in Jenny's memory.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories of all who knew her.
