Jenny Lee Martin, 64, of Thornville, OH passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.
Jenny was born December 16, 1957 as Jenny Lee Stanhope to parents Gordon and Lorraine Stanhope in Fairfield, California. As a young girl she traveled the world with her parents as her father moved to different Air Force bases. At the base in Clovis, New Mexico she met the love of her life, Dean Martin. They married March 23, 1974, had three children and spent 47 loving years together.
She joined her parents, best friend Gay Phelps and grandson Michael in heaven. Her legacy will live on through her three children Michelle (Mike) Powell, Deana (Stephen) Zelko, and Gregory Martin. Siblings Mary-Lou (Robert) Norell, Gordon (Mary-Jo) Stanhope, and former sister-in-law Elizabeth Stanhope.
Jenny had a creative soul. As a retired florist, she was dedicated to flowers; whether it was in her garden or creating beautiful floral arrangements for family and friends. She was a skilled seamstress, crafter and DIY-er. She was known to never pass up a good deal or yard sale.
Services for Jenny and Dean will be held on February 2, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home between 5-7pm. 3047 East Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231
