Jenny L. Phillips, 69, of Columbus, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Jenny was born to the late Arthur and Nellie (Smallwood) Stewart on August 16, 1939, in Weeksbury, Kentucky, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Felix Stewart. Survivors include her daughters, Becky Phillips, Cathy (James) Ream; sons, Michael and Anthony Phillips; brothers, Terry and Jeffrey Stewart; grandchildren, Justin and Cameron Phillips; former husband, Robert Phillips; niece, nephews, cousins and many friends. Jenny worked for the ODNR for over 20 years as an Accounting Supervisor. A devoted mother and grandmother, Jenny will be greatly missed by her family and close friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, with the Funeral Service on Thursday, October 9, 2008, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, New Albany, OH.
