Jeri Cox, 73, of Grove City, passed away Friday, October 9, 2009 at Mt. Carmel West. She was born September 8, 1936, in Columbus, daughter of the late Daryl and Gertrude (Mallory) Williams. Jeri drove the bus for the children of Southwestern City Schools for 25 years before retiring. Jeri is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert E. Cox; sons, Stephen (Karen) Cox and Daryl Cox; daughter, Lora (Scott) Cline; brother, Daryl Williams; stepmother, Dee Williams; grandchildren, April Cox, Robert and Courtney Adkins; brother-in-law, Tom (Priscilla) Cox; sister-in-law, Betty Colmery; step grandchildren, Nicole Haverfield, Matthew and Chasity Cline; great grandchildren, Trinity, Dalton, Hayden, Brianna and Gabriel and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 13, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel 3393 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made the Alzheimer's Association 3380 Tremont Rd Columbus, Oh 43221.
