Jerry Allen Fields

Jerry Fields, 68, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away December 13, 2019. He was born on April 8, 1951 to the late Estel and Nora Fields.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Chism; brother, Estel Jr.; nephews, Robert Fields and Joey Fields.
Surviving family includes sisters, Carol Jean (Byron) Hause, and Marilyn Thompson; niece, Jennifer (Jason) Faltersack; nephews, Paul Fields, Jerry Fields and James Thompson; and many other family members.
Jerry loved helping others. He was selfless in his giving and loved to serve. Even in his final moments he was only concerned with the people around him.
He retired from ODOT after working there 25 years.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Newcomer - Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in procession to Sunset Cemetery, Galloway.
