Jerry Swim, 67, of Grove City, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2009 at O.S.U. Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 8, 1942, in Columbus. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Denver Swim. He was a self employed local home builder. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Dixie Tilley Swim; son, Doug Swim; daughter, Jodi (Doug) Flowers; mother, Hazel Wellman Swim; brothers, Edward (Beverly) Swim and Ira Swim; sister, Mary (Chuck) Cogdill; grandchildren, Taylor and Spencer Flowers; sisters-in-law, Judy (Steve) Cline and Janet Tilley and many nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City.
