Jess A. Browning, 77, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 1, 2009. Jess was born on April 25, 1932 in Wayne County, West Virginia to the late Frances and Everett Browning. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ermel Browning, and Everett Browning, Jr. Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Della Mae Browning; daughters, Helen (Howard) Stevens, Della Lynn Moss, and Marsha (Mike) Woods; son, Ralph (Sandy) Pack, Jr.; sisters, Ada Whitson, Nina (Willie) Varner, Estella Bailey, and Addie Decker; brother, Pete (Polly) Browning; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday May 4, 2009 from 4:00PM-8:00PM at Amity Enterprise Baptist Church, 8336 Plain Cty Grgsvl Rd NE, Plain City, OH 43064. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 11:00AM at the church. Pastor Chris LeMaster officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home.
