Jesse J. Buttrick
March 24, 1941 - January 20, 2021
Jesse was received to his heavenly home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus. He is walking the streets of gold with the love of his life, his wife, Jimmie, who preceded him. Also preceding him are his parents Gilbert H. And Lovell M. Buttrick, sisters: Esther and Mary. He is survived by has children: Douglas (Gail) Buttrick; Tamela (Stephen) James; siblings: George (Opal-deceased) Buttrick and Janet (Jack) Alles. Grandchildren: Robert (Hilary) Soto, Jesse (Tarry) Buttrick, Matthew (Nicole) James, Katie (Yevonne) James, Rachel (Dan) Peal and 10 Great-Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jesse was a master craftsmen in many areas. He worked as a body and fender man by trade and for fun. He worked with his brother until retiring from Westway Body Shop. He also designed and created many one of a kind wooden pieces with his artistic abilities. He also had a passion for his garden and grew wonderful vegetables that he was happy to share with anyone. His humor, kindness, love for his God, family and others are his legacies. Just like the song says, there was always love in daddy's hands. Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and Friend, We love you more because we said it first, second and LAST! Jesse was a faithful and devoted member of First Baptist Church of Grove City, therefore in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Grove City in memory of Jesse Buttrick @ 3301 Orders Road, Grove City, Ohio, to help those in need of the love of Jesus. Private family ceremony due to covid restrictions. A reflection of dad's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL.
