Jimmie Hershel Estep, known to many as Junior, was born on July 19, 1940, in Fuget, Kentucky. He passed away on December 24, 2024.
Jimmie had a long career, retiring from Southard Supply. He was a man of few words, yet he carried within him a deep and unwavering faith which guided him throughout his life. His personality was warm and steadfast, and he was well-respected by those who knew him.
Throughout his life, Jimmie took great pride in maintaining a well-kept yard and found joy in spending time outdoors. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Grove City, Ohio, where he nurtured his faith and enjoyed the fellowship of his community. One of his favorite pastimes was listening to gospel music, which brought him comfort and joy.
Surviving Jimmie is his children, James (Lori) Estep and Don (Carol) Estep, Pamela Sue (Steven) Albery; sons; sister, Rose McGuire; brother, Jack (Nancy) Estep; grandchildren; James (Mandy) Estep, II; grandsons, Josh (Elizabeth) Estep, Jordyn (Tayron) Estep, Rachell Estep, and Lindsey (Kenny) Bentley, Cody (Jessie) Huffman, Casadi Huffman; along with many great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Hershel Estep; mother, Cora Estep; wife, Etta Ernestine Estep; brothers, Thomas Estep, Paul Estep, and David Estep; and sisters, Mary Jane Boysel and Francis Johnson.
Jimmie's legacy will live on through the love and memories shared with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
