Reverend Jimmie L. Jackson, 68, was called home to be with the Lord on February, 19, 2007. Born to the late Jimmie Lee and Alice Mae (Smith) Jackson on January 5, 1939, in Cedartown, GA, Reverend Jackson is preceded in death by his wife, Marcella Jackson; sisters, Lois and Virginia Jackson; brothers, Preston and William Jackson. Survivors include his sons, James and Jonathan (Tina) Jackson; granddaughter, Heaven Lee Jackson; daughter, Sharon Jackson; sisters, Ida Mae Jackson, Josephine Palmer, Inez Camp; brothers, Rufus, Carl and Anthony Jackson. Reverend Jackson was a faithful servant in Nursing Home ministries for 22 years and was one of the active Pastors of United Faith International Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2007, 2-4 PM & 6-8PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. with the funeral service being conducted on Monday, February 26 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
