Jimmy Lombardo

LOMBARDO

As of Monday, February 18, 2008, our lives will never be the same. After 70 years, Jim Lombardo released his soul into the arms of our savior, Lord Jesus Christ. He accomplished many honorable things in his life, but his pride and joy was his family. A devoted and loving husband to Betty, his wife of 44 years; dad to his daughters, Rhonda (Dennis) Lombardo, and Angie Lombardo; Papaw to 5 beautiful granddaughters, Kelsey, Jordyn, and Danielle Mayer, Paige and Shanna Harrington. He was also the eldest of 7 children, John (Mary), Joe, Tony, Judy, Rosemary, and Noah (Martha). Jim was in the bowling business for more than 50 years. He was elected into the Bowling Hall of Fame in 1993 and the NBAA in 2007. With special thanks to Dr. Olencki at the James Cancer Hosptial, family doctor, Ketki Mougey M.D., and the special staff at Hillcrest Lanes. Jim will be sadly missed by everyone who was involved in his life. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM and 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
