Jo Anne Mathews, 75, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away December 9, 2022.
She was born in Newport, KY on October 14, 1947 to the late Homer and Ruth (Donnley) Groendyke.
Jo Anne is preceded in death by her brother, David Groendyke.
Surviving family includes, daughters, Sherry Mathews, Lisa (John) McClary; grandchildren, Alan (Brita) McClary, Tylor (Chrissy) McClary, Chris McClary, Heather McClary, Dani Hernandez, Amy (Xavier) Lugo; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Michael Groendyke; as well as many other loving extended family and friends; and seven fur babies.
Jo Anne worked for JP Morgan Chase for many years.
She loved the New York Yankees baseball, The Beatles, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
As per Jo Anne's wishes there will be no service. The family appreciates all the kindness and acts of love that have been shown.
