Joe Mccoy

Joe McCoy, age 73, of Columbus, Ohio, was called home to our Lord, on August 23, 2023, under the hospice care at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, Ohio.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Ireland and Malinda (Hunt) McCoy, his brothers, Ireland, Ray, Frank, and Jay, his sisters, Nina Larsen and Gay Riley.

Joe is survived by his brothers, Guy McCoy, of Columbus, Ohio, and Jess McCoy of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; his sisters, Nola Martin Skeens of Kenova, WV and Barbara McCoy (Stone) Williams of Gahanna, Ohio; his niece Camelia Figuero and Edgar (Eddy) D. Nevada; along with many, many other nieces, nephews and friends.

Joe spent hours a day doing Word Search Puzzles and had a huge love for sports. He especially loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and watching the games with family and friends was his passion. Joe loved everyone and cared so deeply with his special love. No one was a stranger to Joe, everyone that met him loved him. He lived every moment he was given until God called him home.
