Joe Morgan, 76, of Westerville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Mt. Carmel East. He was born June 17, 1934, in Kilgore, Texas, son of the late J.K. and Bonnie Lanier Morgan. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Billie Jean Diveley. He worked for Tri Star driving handicapped children. Joe is survived by his wife, Peggy Haynes Morgan; son, Kelly Mac (Angie) Morgan; daughters, Jan (Steve) Collins, Jodi Morgan and Jeri Sue (Steve) Worsing; stepson, Robert E. Lee; stepdaughters, Jean Farrar, Kathy (Bruce) Olin and Billie Blankenship; brother, James Kenneth (Beverly) Morgan; sister, Joyce Ann (Bill) Hopkins; thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM at Columbus Baptist Temple, 5075 Cleveland Ave. Columbus, Ohio, with the funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Paul Gabriel, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd Columbus.
