Joe Seymour

June 22, 1947 — March 8, 2022

Joseph Wilbur Seymour, age 74, passed away on March 8, 2022 at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Joe was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 22, 1947 to Margaret Seymour.

Proceeded in death by his mother Margaret Seymour, Son Greg Allen Seymour and grandson Luke Juan Antonio Seymour.
Survived by Wife Rose Mary Seymour of 45 years. Half Brother James (Kathy) Van Ostran, Children- Carla (Dave) Dingess, Joseph II (Barbara) Seymour, Paula (Hershel) Wilks, Davie (Tina) Seymour, Linda (Bernie) Finchum, Golden (Karen) Carlos, Joedi (Joel) Carlos, Lena (Shawn) Meyer. So many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved deeply. Brutus (his dog). Many friends which he called family.

Joe had quite a few nicknames. Mo, Mo Joe, Cheech. But from his wife it was Honey and from the kids it was Pappy or Daddy. But to us all, it was Superman. He was strong in strength and in heart. If he wasn't talking about cars or playing poker, he would have been reading the news complaining about the world and all its political crap as he would call it!

Our Superman was factotum in all things. Working on cars, remodeling, painting, drawing, tinkering in the garage. And "boy did he have a great poker face". All these traits Joe had, he instilled in his children.

He was a giving man and never met a stranger, always willing to help out in any way he could if that meant he had to struggle. You will forever be missed and in our hearts. You were a Great Man. The Best Father, Loving Husband and The Silliest Grandpa. We now have our Superman Angel watching over us all.
