Joey Jay Blevins, 47, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2009 at his home. He was born to the late Jay and Mary Blevins on November 3, 1961 in Floyd County, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, Joey was preceded in death by his brothers, James Blevins, and David Ratliff. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Little; daughters, Tressa Spires, Patricia Fields, and Crystal Fischer; sons, Danny Gillman II, and Robert Fischer; grandchildren, Destiny and Gabrielle Spires, Danny Gillman III, Tamara and Conard Fields, and Dakoda and Cory Fischer; brothers, Darrell Blevins, Larry Blevins, Tony Ratliff, Randy Ratliff, Kenneth Blevins, and Paul Blevins; sisters, Sandra Lane, Linda Goodman, and Margaret Tackett; and may nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 11:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Interment will follow at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, Ohio.
