John Allen Babcock, Sr., 51, of Columbus, passed away February 2, 2012. He was born in Columbus on August 1, 1960. He was preceded in death by brothers, George III and Steve. Surviving family includes, ex-wife, Barbara Babcock, father, George C. (Jean) Babcock, Jr., mother, Earlene (Darrell) Riggs, sons, John (Eva) Babcock Jr., Deric Babcock, Joshua (Rebekah) Babcock, sister, Loralee (Clayton) Corbin, brother, Lance L. Babcock, grandchildren, John Allen Babcock III and Abigail. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery.
