John S. Ankrum

John S. Ankrum, 88, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John F. and Vennie Ankrum; brother, George Ankrum; sister, Bertie Louise Hoge. John is survived by wife of 66 years, Jean Ankrum; children, Zane Ankrum, Aaron Ankrum, Barbara Edwards, and Chuck (Diane) Ankrum; grandchildren, Joey, Jewel, Julie, Thomas, Jennifer, Jean, and Natalie.
He worked at Buckeye Steel and retired from General Motors after 25 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and feeding the birds, as well as watching sports. John was a friend to all he met and never knew a stranger. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 1pm until the time of Funeral Service at 3pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
Graveside Service Monday, February 7, 2022 at 2pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213.
