John Daniel Baker
January 28, 1957 — June 15, 2024
John Daniel Baker (Dan) was born on January 28, 1957, and entered eternal rest on June 15, 2024, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital with his wife Holly by his side.
He was a member of Spirit and Truth Fellowship in Canal Winchester and played guitar in the church band.
He was previously employed at EFCO Formwork Solutions in Columbus as a drafter. He was also and avid guitar player and played in several bands throughout his life. He also loved model trains.
He is survived by his loving wife Holly (Kozel), sons JD (Wynona) of Newark, Josh (Rhoda) of Gratiot, and Jason (Katherine) of Columbus. Stepson Benjamin Wood (Ashley) and stepdaughter Amanda Wood, both of Reynoldsburg. Grandchildren, Alex, Haylie, Kaedin, Kendall, William, Lily, Lacey, London and Jaylyn. And many brother and sister in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Eddice Baker, daughter Holley and granddaughter Isabella.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-7pm, Friday, June 28, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, where a memorial service will begin at 7pm.

The family wishes to thank Alter Nursing Facility of Canal Winchester and Mt Carmel ICU team for the care, compassion and kindness shown to Dan and his wife.
