John Thomas Barton, Jr. (69) passed away on 6/15/2022 peacefully after battles with Parkinsons disease & Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia at Willowbrook Christian Home Assisted Living. He was preceded in death by his parents John Thomas Barton and Kathryn Kesler Barton of Virginia. He is survived by his wife, "Anne" Rea Barton and son, J.T. Also, his sisters, Kathy Minter and Ellen Van Stee (Greg) and nephews Charles Justice, John Justice (Peggy), Andrew Van Stee and Christopher Van Stee (Elizabeth).
John was an Enrolled Agent with H&R Block. He was also an ordained Minister with a Bachelors Degree in Physics and Psychology from the College of William and Mary, a Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies from Wheaton College and a Master of Arts in Religion and Master of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary.
He enjoyed working with his clients, growing massive vegetable gardens, and doing woodworking projects. He was a homebody who enjoyed hanging out with the dogs and cat and watching tv.
