John A. Beam, 82, of Laurelville, Ohio passed away December 16, 2022. He was born on June 13, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio to Gerald A. and Emma G. Beam.
He is preceded in passing by his parents; son, John Gregory Beam; brothers, Jerry, Billy, Raymond and sister, Linda.
John proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a 32nd degree Mason. John was an avid motorcyclist. He loved horses, fishing, camping and the outdoors. Most of all, he loved his dog, Scout.
Surviving family includes wife of 35 years, Carolyn Beam; children, Lori (Kenny) Love, Tom (Annette) Beam, Brian (Jennifer) Beam; step-daughter, Jackie (Dennis) Whalen; grandchildren, Eric, Ryan, Casey, Samuel, Daniel, Brioni; sister, Nancy (Tim) Bowman and several nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday December 23, 2022 from 10am to 12pm at Newcomer SW Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
