John is preceded in death by his father, John D. Bowling. Survivors include his mother, Mary L. Bowling; sister, Marilyn Chaney; nieces, Christina and Sarah; nephew, Joe; great-nieces, Destiny and Angel; great-nephews, Joey, Anthony, Jesse, and Richie.
John was a member of the Columbus Christian Holiness Church where he taught Sunday school. He worked at Marich Inc. for 33 years.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial at Fernwood Cemetery.
