John D. Burke, March 18, 1943 – January 7, 2024. Preceded in death by parents Chester and Nannie Burke, brothers Tom and George Morris, Chester Burke, Penny Smith and Jean Davis, Stepson Pat O'Keefe and step grandson Jeremy Cruz. Survived by wife Kathy Burke (O'Keefe), Son John Burke Jr (Amie) daughters Kelly Walter (Greg) and Kathleen Burke. Grandchildren Heather Smith (AJ), Brandon Walter (Caitlyn), Maddie Burke, Tanner Finkle, Tessa Finkle and Lacy Finkle. Stepchildren Jill Coplan (John), Molly Speakman (Troy), Amanda Holt (Luke). Step grandchildren Jami Witherup, Carrie Darr, Alex Coplan, Daniel O'Keefe, Troy Speakman, Lexi Hice, Avery Speakman, Tory Speakman, Sam Speakman, Katie Speakman and Charlie Holt. 10 Great Grandchildren. Retired from Clark Oil and the City of Columbus. Owner of Pizza Station and Patio Bar. May you be peaceful and happy and in the presence of those who really care for you. May your going be sheltered and your welcome assured. May your soul smile in the embrace of your anam cara (soul friend). Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free!
