John Anderson Byrd

John A. Byrd went home to be with the Lord on Monday June 12st, 2023 at the age of 71 years old. He is the son of the late Frederick Byrd Sr. and Margaret (Jones) Byrd. He was born in Columbus Ohio on July 28th, 1951.
He accepted and rededicated his life to Christ in 2018, he was also water baptized. He loved the Lord and was a devoted disciple for Christ.
He was a graduate of East High School in Columbus Ohio. He retired from Sears Distribution Center and the Columbus Metropolitan Library where he worked for over 30 years. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He is preceded in death by brothers Frederick Byrd Jr and James Byrd; sister Pattie Barnes.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his only son Sharif (Shana) Gray; grandsons Sharif Gray Jr (Asjah), Josiah Gray, Jordan Gray, and Jevon Gray; sister Debra Bryant; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend Pam Smith.
