John W. Cherup III

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John Cherup on February 16, 2025, at the age of 70.

John was a loving husband to Michele, a proud father to Brandon and Tyler (& Thein), and a cherished grandfather to Aerial and Kipp. He is survived by his mother, Marylin; sister Vicki; brother Ricky and his wife Debroah; and sister and brother-in-law, Chris and Carol Clarizo.

John was preceded in death by his father, John; sister, Robin; niece, Natalie; nephew, Thomas; and is remembered fondly by numerous nieces and nephews.

A true Ohio sports fan, John loved cheering on the Browns, Indians, and Buckeyes. He found peace in his garden and joy in the simple things that made life beautiful.
