John R. Corbett

John Corbett, age 76, passed away on March 30, 2024. He was born on July 10, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Joseph and Audrey Corbett. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dave Corbett and Bill Corbett; daughter, Caitlin Corbett. He is survived by his wife, Linda Corbett; nieces, Amy, Cathy, Debbie and Tiffany; nephews, Joe and Roger Alan; sister in law, Linda; step children, Misty (Kristy) and Rodney (Wendi); sister in law, Tammy Sunday; grandchildren, Tyler, Tim, Nicole, and Dakota. Retired form General Motors after 30 years. He was also an alcohol and drug consoler at Maryhaven for nearly 5 years. He also was a train conductor on Norfork Railroad. John also ran several Parkinsons meetings for over 10 years. Avid music lover, who enjoyed playing saxophone and jazz music, while also enjoying playing pool and woodworking. Friends may gather at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
