John Crockett

John E. Crockett ("the Grass Man"), 86, passed away July 19, 2015. He was preceded in death by parents, John and Nancy Crockett; sisters, Francis Salyers and Jessie Mullaney; and brother, Earnest Crockett.

Survived by wife, Virgie Crockett; son, Jack (Deanna) Crockett; sister, Mary Smith; and favorite buddy, Penny.

John worked at 3M for 21 years. He loved riding his lawn mower and visiting everyone in the neighborhood. He enjoyed going around the neighborhood to pick up cans.

Visitation Friday, July 24, 2015 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 1pm at the funeral home with Minister Chris Colley officiating. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
