John Bricker, 80, of Columbus, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born January 16, 1930 in Kalamazoo, MI, son of the late Chester Bricker and Fay Leeper Bricker. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sisters, Amy and Dorothy. He served in the Army during WWII. John was also a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Mary Fridley Bricker; sons, Steve (Jean) and Brian (Cindy) Bricker; daughters, Brenda (Mike) Roy and Jeannine Stevens; grandchildren, Carole, Tina, Valarie, Amanda, Amy, Matt, Adam, Alicia, Rob, Mike, Diana and thirteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, January 10, 2011 from 11:00 AM-1:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 1:30 PM. John was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather whom truly cherished his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
