John E. Seidenschmidt (Big John), 73, of Grove City, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009. He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Margaret (Maggie); son John (Karen) Seidenschmidt; daughters Dee Seidenschmidt and Mary (Edward) Liberati; and grandchildren Brooke and John S. Seidenschmidt, Blake, Hannah and Sean Liberati. John was preceded in death by his father Emerich; mother Mary (Trenowatz); and sister Mary (Jerabeck). He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School class of 1953. Visitation Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 6-9 PM with prayer service at 8:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
