John E. Evans, 95, of Columbus, passed away March 2, 2021.
John was born May 13, 1925 in Columbus, OH to John and Mildred Evans.
He proudly served in the United States Army. John retired from The Ohio State University after many years of service.
John will be deeply missed by; son John (Mahaley) Evans; grandchildren John Evans, Michael Evans, Brittany Evans, Michael Benedict, Deziree Benedict; 5 great-grandchildren along with many other family and friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents and son Jason Evans.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 10, 2021, from 6pm to 8pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
