John Franklin Sparks, 79, of Columbus, OH passed away March 4, 2012. He was born in McDowell County, WV on March 15, 1932. Surviving family includes, wife, Emma Sparks, daughters, Cassie Rush, Raeanna Althoff, sons, John Workman, David Workman, Ernest Rush, brothers, James and Douglas Sparks, grandchildren, Claryssa Simpson and many other grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm, Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am, Friday, March 9, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Obetz Cemetery.
